Participants will learn how to support Early Brain Development, Early Literacy, and Classroom Management while incorporating the vocabulary of American Sign Language (ASL) into their daily routines and literacy activities.

The Summer Institute, based on a combination of theoretical and practical ideologies and participants will learn up to 75+ signs from American Sign Language that they can use the next day in their classroom.  Each participant will receive the following resources to support their use of ASL in the classroom:

~ 1 CEU

~ Dr. Joseph Garcia’s Book, SIGN with your BABY

~ Sign2Me Pick Me Up CD and Downloadable Activity book with 20 original songs with signs

~ Sprouting New Beginning ASL Classroom Labels and ABC Charts CD
