Spend the day with Sprouting New Beginnings at our newest and most exciting workshop this year! We will be spending a day learning about how to jump start your new school year with lots of American Sign Language (ASL) techniques. You will leave this hands-on workshop with tons of new ideas on bringing ASL into your curriculum to support literacy, music time, transitions, classroom management, and building a strong community with your students and their families. If you have attended any of our trainings you won’t want to miss this advanced workshop!
Participants will learn:
  • How to set the stage for a fresh and exciting new school year
  • How to create a literacy rich classroom environment
  • How to introduce ASL and build quality relationships with families and students
  • Incorporate ASL into back to school stories, songs and thematic units
  • Building a strong classroom community using ASL
  • Create souvenirs to share and play with your new students
